Who is responsible

This website is operated by Daniel Otaigbe, an independent sole practitioner offering services to accommodation businesses in Madeira, Portugal. For any question about your data, write to hospitality@danielotaigbe.com.

What is collected

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, organisation or property, property location, service of interest, a description of your requirement, your preferred timing, and your consent to be contacted.

The form includes a hidden field used to catch automated spam. If you are a person, you will never see it or fill it in.

Why, and on what basis

To read your enquiry, decide whether I am the right fit, and reply to you. Nothing else.

The lawful basis differs by activity. Consent covers the collection and storage of the details you submit through the form, and is given when you tick the consent box. Legitimate interest covers replying to a business enquiry you have chosen to send me. You may withdraw consent at any time, which ends the storage of your details.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are received and stored by Netlify, which hosts this website, and are then read in my email. Netlify acts as a processor on my behalf. No other third party receives your enquiry.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted, unless we begin working together, in which case normal business records apply.

Analytics and cookies

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising scripts and no third-party tracking of any kind. Fonts are served from this website rather than from an external provider, so loading a page makes no request to any other company.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, withdraw consent, or object to how it is used. Write to hospitality@danielotaigbe.com and I will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.

Professional boundaries

Daniel Otaigbe provides independent operational, administrative, facilities-coordination and business-support services. Services do not constitute real-estate mediation, property valuation, investment advice, financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, architectural services, engineering certification or licensing approval. Where specialist advice is required, clients should engage an appropriately qualified professional.
